What is Group Training?

The national network of over 180 Group Training Organisations around Australia now employs almost 40,000 apprentices and trainees – it's the largest employer of apprentices and trainees in Australia. Well over 35,000 businesses use Group Training for their apprentices and trainees.

Group Training (GT) is the easiest way to take on apprentices and trainees. With Group Training, you get all the advantages of carefully selected apprentices and trainees, short or long-term, without the hassle of paperwork and payroll.

Group Training employs apprentices and trainees and then place them with you for as long as you need them. We take care of the paperwork for wages, allowances, workers compensation, superannuation etc, while you allow time off to attend any off-the-job training that may be required. And we're there, throughout the period of the apprenticeship or traineeship, to make sure everything runs efficiently.

Who can use Group Training?

Any business can use Group Training to employ their apprentices or trainees because Group Training is active in just about every industry – construction, financial services, manufacturing, retail, health, automotive, and hospitality, to name just a few.
