The Training Provider
In all workplaces in NSW there are a large number of organisations that are called training providers or training organisations. Anyone can set up a training business and offer their services to a particular community. As with all businesses some organisations are very high profile and others are barely known but with training providers for Australian apprenticeships this now becomes important as to their actual training status. How to get the Training Started
A potential Australian apprentice is required to enrol with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) within 3 months of commencing work as an Australian apprentice (employee). The employer, employee and the AAC must negotiate and develop a training plan with the RTO. NSW Department of Education and Training
This is a State government department headed by a minister who has a responsibility for all State public schools, Vocational Education Training providers including TAFE and all private organisations, the respective training support services that includes the State Training Authority (STA) and the Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB). |
